Clay Bonded Castable Refractory for Thermal Equipment

Clay bonded castable refractory is using soft clay as binder, with bauxite clinker, clay clinker or corundum, mullite refractory aggregate and pouring refractory powder and other admixture. The choice of soft clay binder requires good plasticity, good dispersion, good adhesion, wide sintering temperature range and high refractoriness. 

Clay bonded castable refractory can be divided into clay, high aluminum, corundum, mullite, light aluminum according to the type of refractory aggregate and powder used. Compared with cement bonded refractory castable, clay bonded castable refractory has the characteristics of thermal strength, moderate temperature strength, good volume stability at high temperature, good spalling resistance and good thermal shock resistance. 

Clay bonded castable refractory is mainly used in blast furnace, heating furnace, equalizing furnace and other thermal equipment.
