Technical Requirements for Masonry and Construction of Carbon Baking Furnace

July 23, 2018
The carbon baking furnace is a kind of thermal work for inducing various carbon products after high pressure molding indirectly under the condition of insulating air at a predetermined baking temperature, thereby improving the electrical conductivity and high temperature resistance of the product and improving the strength of the product. equipment.
Carbon baking furnace insulation is divided into: bottom, side wall, fire wall, cross wall, furnace top and flue. The roaster can be divided into multiple flame systems during operation. Each flame system is operated in multiple chambers in series. Each furnace chamber is loaded, preheated, calcined and cooled according to a certain procedure, and the quality of the masonry is directly It affects the normal production of the roaster and the quality of the carbon products. Therefore, reasonable construction and technology can ensure the masonry quality of the roaster.
Construction standard:
   1. Before the masonry, the bricks should be selected according to the technical indicators. The defective bricks such as missing edges, corners and cracks should be built on the non-working surface. The processing surface of the brick should not be placed on the working surface. When building bricks, the joints should be even, the mortar in the brick joints should be full, no gaps are allowed, and the upper and lower brick layers are not allowed to have joints.
   2. The expansion joint should be even and straight, keep the inside of the joint clean, and fill the material according to the regulations. The mixing of the castables should be strictly in accordance with the ratio of water, each stirring should not be too much, used up within 30min, castables with initial condensation is strictly prohibited to continue to use.
Bottom brick layer:
The bottom of the furnace is composed of red bricks (used in the open type), clay heat-insulating bricks and clay bricks. When a through-type expansion joint is left in each brick layer of the bottom of the furnace, the joint is built in sections. When each layer of the bottom brick is built, the bricks on both sides are first built, and then the standard is used as the standard. Brick and control brick layer

When each layer of the bottom brick is built, the bricks on both sides are first built, and then the standard is used as the standard. The bricks and control the smoothness of the brick surface.
Brick masonry:
Each roasting room has more than 100 brick piers (size: 230mm*230mm*600mm), and the brick piers are made of bunk tiles. Generally, the surrounding clay brick walls are firstly built to the elevation of the upper surface of the brick pier, and then drawn on the wall. Control line, build brick piers by line. Brick piers in the same roasting chamber should be kept strictly horizontal.
Furnace wall masonry:
In the roasting furnace with fire well, the clay brick wall and the material wall can be alternately constructed in parallel. The horizontal wall is first built and the two walls are built behind. The height of the red brick wall does not exceed the clay brick wall. When the furnace wall is built to the burner, the height of the elevation and the center line of the burner should be strictly controlled. The uppermost brick of the furnace wall should be side-mounted.
Fire wall:
Sliding joints are used between the fire wall and the cross wall, and between the side wall and the horizontal wall, and a straight-through expansion joint is left, and the inner surfaces of the side wall and the concave wall of the horizontal wall should be straight. In order to produce the volatile matter of the calcined product, it can fully enter the fire in the fire, reduce pollution and save energy. The brick joint of the lower masonry of the fire-proof capping brick should have certain gas permeability, but the thickness of the brick joint should not be too large.
Flue:
Where the lower masonry of the inclined flue is in contact with the vulcanization of the collecting flue, a layer of insulating steel plate is laid, and the flue vault should be built first. After the steel plate is laid, the furnace wall is built.
Furnace cover:
The furnace cover bricks are generally carried out on the water platform frame in the factory building where the lower baking furnace is located. Starting from the angle bricks at the four corners of each circle, and then using the corner bricks as the benchmark, the four-sided colleagues will be built layer by layer. The finished furnace cover should be transported by special hangers. When lifting, the furnace cover should be stable and the masonry should not be impacted. vibration.
All holes in the furnace should be cleaned to ensure that the holes are unobstructed.
