Application of the alumina-magnesia refractory castable
The alumina-magnesia refractory castable is a refractory castable prepared by using high alumina bauxite clinker as aggregate, high bauxite clinker powder and magnesia as powder, and sodium water glass as binder.
The alumina-magnesia refractory castable have been widely used in medium and small die casting ladle, with an average age of 60-80 times. The consumption of ton steel refractories is reduced by about 70% compared with clay-coated steel bricks. The alumina-magnesia refractory castable has long service life, safety and stability, and is an ideal refractory material for ladle.
The raw material of the alumina-magnesia castable for ladle is basically the same as the alumina-magnesia refractory ramming material. In order to obtain room temperature strength, sodium fluorosilicate should be added as a coagulant. The aluminum-magnesium castable for ladle has a lower load softening temperature due to the combination of the addition of magnesia powder to form some low-baked materials and the combination of water glass and sodium fluorosilicate.
The working surface used for the alumina-magnesia refractory castable can be repaired by removing the adhered metal and cleaning the surface as long as the working surface is not completely melted, thereby reducing the refractory material during the new spray construction. The amount of use and the amount of waste bricks produced by the ladle are reduced by about 30%.
